About Me
I’m Clémence — a French-born, Irish creative entrepreneur, artist, designer, writer, educator, and calm-life advocate. I’m a self-taught painter and illustrator, creating peaceful art inspired by the calming beauty of nature, Ireland in particular, and the simple things in life.
Through my work — from original paintings to mindful resources — I help people around the world reconnect with calm, creativity, and themselves.
As a child, I spent hours drawing with my sister Émilie or getting lost in writing and storytelling. However, like many, I stopped making art as I grew older and focused on my studies.
I went on to work in the corporate world for 15 years as an R&D Project Manager. Over time, I felt my energy and creativity slowly drained by deadlines, office politics, and stress. It took a toll on my well-being — on my mental health, my personality, and my sense of peace.
So I chose another path — one that honours what truly matters to me: creating moments of calm, and helping others do the same.
At some point on the corporate train, I realised I wasn’t even looking out the window. Life was rushing by — meetings, deadlines, stress — and I was missing the landscape. I wasn’t gaining anything personally from staying on that train. So I made a different choice.
I decided to slow down. To look through the window. To stop at a few stations along the way, even if it meant taking another train later — metaphorically speaking.
In 2014, I returned to art as a way to cope with the stress of toxic corporate environments. I started painting regularly to reconnect with calm and mindfulness. It quickly became clear how soothing this creative time was for my mind and my wellbeing. I felt more like myself — more grounded, more present — every time I picked up a brush.
In 2016, I moved to Ireland — a place that quickly became my home. I fell in love with its raw landscapes, its ancient stories, and its deep connection to nature. Since then, I’ve travelled across the country, sketching, painting, and designing prints inspired by every corner of Ireland. I’ve also grown increasingly fascinated by Celtic culture, which subtly weaves its way into my work.
I became a professional artist in 2018 while still working full-time. Since 2021, I’ve fully dedicated myself to my creative practice.
Today, I paint to explore the impact of modern life and the healing power of nature. In every brushstroke, I seek stillness and softness — a way of resetting the nervous system. My subjects are rooted in quiet beauty, peaceful moments, and gentle landscapes that invite us to slow down.
I believe art has the power to calm the mind. To hold space for quiet. To help us breathe a little deeper.

Testimonials
" I think your art is very inspirational and captures the essence of calm moments in life and nature. I am especially interested, being from Fingal and seeing local beauty spots represented in paintings, of a very high standard. These paintings really are special. "

"When I’ve travelled in the country, it’s quiet and peaceful. You feel as if you’re the only one with nature and beauty of your surroundings. There is a silence because the beauty overtakes you. A sort of solitude. In awe of nature. And I feel that with your painting."
